@cynicalwhimsy: I think there was a box that asked whether the applicant wanted to apply for need-based financial aid in the commonapp form. If you filled in everything and nothing was reported missing, then dont need to stress about it. Congrats on all of the acceptances btw!

@cynicalwhimsy: I went through a similar panic a few weeks ago. Assuming you are a first year ‘in US’ applicant, here is the form with the (past) deadlines and respective requirements… http://admissions.vassar.edu/docs/finaid13-14/early_decision_US.pdf

You can get to that form by following vassar.edu-admissions-financial aid-apply for aid. I would call ASAP! Best of luck…eek

Hi everyone- sorry to barge in like this but I was accepted earlier today as well. Congratulations everyone!

@scoresarenothing: I did check that box and nothing was reported missing, which was why I thought I didn’t have to do anything else! (Since FAFSA’s not due til the spring). I think I’m going to at least in part chalk this up to one more thing that is super confusing about this process (esp with the online app).

@merdifjane: Thanks for the advice! That form is what tipped me off that I messed up somewhere along the line. I’m going to call tomorrow to assess the damage and then get those forms in ASAP!

Congrats to everyone! My son is accepted as well…and so relieved. For Financial Aid you had to submit CSS forms through the College Boards, your parents 2011 taxes and 2011 FAFSA. Packages are being sent out next week.

So for the admitted students fb group, it seems that I was added yet I can’t actually see or post anything. Does anyone else have this problem? Thank you!

Just kidding! Crisis averted :3
