Keep in mind, too, that deferral from Wesleyan does not necessarily mean rejection. I know this firsthand.

Good luck, peoples.

Good luck, peoples.

just finished my English essay- I have no idea how I did that with tomorrow at 3 on my mind! still have to study for 2 tests, but there is no point in trying to go to sleep, so i guess i will try to study.

thanks for the info, everyone. nice to know, although it is so out of our hands now/obviously decided so i guess knowing that stuff won’t make a difference.

this is my last time checking this thread before 3pm tomorrow… weird to think that the next time i check this thread I WILL KNOW. this past week i have kind of lost all hope that i will get in, i guess i don’t know if i really believe that or if i’m setting myself up for defeat. from now on though i want to just have a “what happens happens” attitude. it may not seem like it now, but we will all end up at the right school in the long run!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!! i know wes '14 will be amazing, i just hope to be a part of it. i honestly wish all of you the best of luck!

Well, here we are. Best of luck to you all! I might be here one more time, right before we find out since you have to be online to do that anyway. I’ll definitely post whether I am admitted/deferred/rejected, hopefully it’ll be easier to do and just be one of the first two options lol. It would also suck having to go to school Monday and be like, “oh yeah, I got rejected…” But I’m sure we’ll be okay, whatever the case may be. But being at school today is going to be hard. And when I come home, I might be by myself but my little sister might be home. I’d rather do it alone, honestly lol.

AHH!!!

i’m sick today, so i didn’t go to school. i have a high fever. uggggh.

but at least I don’t have to sit in class wondering, staring at the clock, anticipating 3 PM.

I just want to know!!

Best of luck EDers! Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you on campus next semester!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
before like, tuesday, i was all cocky and thought i was a shoe-in. then i thought ‘hey, wait a minute, no…’
good luck everyone!

45 minutes, guys and gals.

just to console everyone a bit- the 10% app increase that President Roth referred to on his blog was for regular decision, not early decision.

for ED this year, Wes received 9 fewer apps than last year (so a 1% decrease from last year), so the # admitted this year ED should be equal to last year ED

Holy mother 20 minutes

They’re up. Deferred.

I GOT IN! whatttt

Can people please post stats? Congrats to everyone who gets in, and to everyone else too…everyone will end up somewhere great.

I don’t know why they bothered to point out that my parents went to Wesleyan on the rejection letter, did they really think that would help?
