How do you know?!?!

cf21drums: when did you apply?

I converted my application to Early Decision II on December 21st, but I applied Regular Decision back in October.

Wow!! Congrats!!

yep you guys who applied ED2 should hear back very soon then! it’s rolling so i guess it depends on how much your reader has to do and i assume my reader didnt have much going on so she was able to make a quick decision!

and congrats cf21drums!!

Yay Accepted!

congratulations again! :)

rejected…

congrats nadine!! and I’m sorry lolface, i know how that feels because it happened to me ED1. just know that it’ll be really hard for a couple days and then all of a sudden you’ll move on to better things and rarely think about it!

Sorry lolface849 and thanks julespt.

i got rejected in an ED I and II, not really having a great time here :/

I’m sorry lolface849 I’ll probably be getting a rejection letter soon too. Just got my first semester grades. Absolutely horrendous. I’m so screwed.

sdoor13: its okay man, heaven better have a plan for us :|

I was accepted yesterday!!! HAPPY, HAPPY! Any fellow student? Doesn’t mind contacting me?

i requested an appeal on my decision, lets see what they have to say…not expecting anything out of it though

i didnt know you could request an appeal! thats totally worth it to try though

their admissions policy states that all decisions are final, so I wont be in Hamilton this fall.

hi guys I’m just seeing this thread now. I submitted my ED2 application on Jan 15th, and havent heard back yet. is this unusual? I’m sorry for those who didnt get in- I got rejected early decision 1 and know that it really does not feel too great. I was also wondering about the early decision 2 acceptance rate? Colgate only publishes early decision 1.

definitely not unusual! they say 3-4 weeks, but it could be a lot earlier or later
