<p>Are we allowed to do early decision II to another college (Tufts for example) if we applied early decision to Cornell and got deferred?</p>

<p>It's exactly like early decision, but you can declare a school which offers EDII with a january deadline your early decision, and you find out in February I believe. it's binding like ED1 and you can apply ED2 if rejected or deferred from your ED1, or if you didn't do an ED1.</p>
