Has anyone applied Early Decision to Mount Holyoke College (Class of 2020)?
My daughter did. She is anxiously awaiting January 1st! 
I did!! I’ve heard that they announce their decisions as early as December 15-20th so I’m hoping for sooner rather than later!

The week of December 15 will be a big one at our house. My daughter applied ED at Mt. Holyoke and then applied Early Action at her two second choice schools. We should get the results from all 3 around the same time. Pins and needles!
Good luck! My daughter deferred at Mt. Holyoke last spring to take a gap year and will be part of the class of 2020. BTW, each class has a mythical creature and color. The class of 2020 will be rocking the Blue Lion.
We saw that each class had a mythical creature and color when we went on our tour, but we didn’t know what it would be for 2020. Thanks for the info, LeftofPisa!
The atrium in the library with the staircases and the mythical creature banners for each class was amazing. As a former librarian, I fell in love with MHC’s library. My daughter fell in love with just about everything on our tour and visit. Really crossing all of our fingers and toes over the next week.
Funnily enough, her second choice is Northeastern which is so drastically different from MHC. Each one had different facets that clicked with her.
I applied ED as well! I’ve been obsessively stalking the isis database and lurking around the internet trying to find other ED applicants. I wish you the best of luck as your hopeful future classmate!!

I feel your pain, 19171998biology, and I’m just a mom! Any idea what time the decisions might be posted today or what time they were posted last year?
No idea what time or whether it’ll even be today; in the past it’s been released on Fridays (probably so the admissions office won’t be flooded with calls). My guess is sometime Friday evening. Fingers crossed!!
I applied ED and had a chat with one coach. He told me that sometimes coaches and recruiters are made aware of the admission decision before it’s made available to the general pool. My guess is we’ll be notified before Christmas.
Hi! Current student here. You guys don’t need to check ISIS, they’ll send you an email as soon as the decisions are posted. I’m pretty sure I got mine on a Thursday evening. Good luck!
@FireflyLights Thanks for the info. Are merit aid awards posted on ISIS along with the admissions decision or do students have to wait for those via snail mail? Thanks again for your help!
Yes, they are. Mine was actually included in the acceptance letter in the original email, and they automatically subtract it from your bill.
I should note that I was a RD applicant, so they might add more to the merit packages for ED acceptances after they see the full RD pool. This happened at another school I applied to (rolling admissions policy). I’m not totally sure if MHC does this or not, though.
