Early Decision Notification?

<p>I applied ED for Northwestern University. They say I will find out by December 15th. Does that mean I will find out ON december 15th? I remember hearing Dec. 1st somewhere else, and am hoping that that earlier date is the correct one.
Anyone have any insight?</p>

<p>Hear by December 15th. I heard it’s usually the Monday of that week, so this year it would be December 13th. (You will receive an e-mail on that date).</p>

<p>When does American send out its early decision notification? Most schools are by december 15th but I haven’t heard anything from them.</p>
