early decision or early action?

<p>I am completely done with my application but I have not yet submitted because I cant decide if I should apply early decision or early action. I am planning on submitting it tomorrow since the deadline is saturday. I want to apply ED cause miami is my first choice its my dream school but according to statistics theres a lower ED acceptance rate compared to EA....which doesn't make much sense. I am going crazy right now because I dont want to get rejected ED and regret applying EA which has a way higher acceptance rate. Usually early decision is higher for schools especially the ivy leagues so I am very confused. PLEASE HELP!!</p>

GPA: 3.75 W
ACT: 27
EC: tons and tons
Hooks: Legacy</p>

<p>I am nervous because clearly Miami is a reach school for me because my information is lower than the average student admitted. </p>

<p>Good luck what did you end up doing? My D is a sophomore and loves it there. She had a high ACT (32) but a lower GPA than yours and got accepted EA. She is also a legacy and I really think that helped.</p>
