Early Decision or Regular?

I'm debating between doing early decision or regular. Northwestern is my number one choice for sure, but the only reason I'm hesitant is because of my SAT score. I scored a 2090 overall (650CR 770M 670W) and i feel like this is below average.

Would I have a better chance retaking December SAT and applying regular assuming ill get around 2200, or am I just better off applying early decision with my current scores?

I noticed that Northwestern's early decision rates were significantly higher than their regular admission, so I assumed that they valued dedication to their college.

What about your other stats?

Sounds very reasonable. You may also want to take a couple SAT2 as they are recommended or required depending on the school or program you are applying.

here are my other stats from my chance me:

I would go for the ED if I were you. I think the ED boost outweighs the boost from ~100 point increase in SATI

^ I don’t think the ED effect would be like a 100 point boost across the board. It mainly gives higher chances to qualified applicants or those with hooks.
