Early Decision question:

I understand that many schools ask for marking period 1 grades. Does Cornell? And if they do, does the GC send them in or does the adcoms ask for them?

The admissions people only ask some students for first making period grades if they need more information before they make their decision. I didn't have to send mine, but I know people who did, so keep your grades up. You don't have to send grades unless they're asked for.

Ok thanks for that clearification. I called up today and he said that we ask you to send them as soon as they are ready. But I think he said that just so he makes me think that I don't slack. I heard before that they don't look at senior grades for ED unless they ask for them. Anyone else? TY

i sent mine willingly, they were better than my average GPA by a lot haha.
