Early Decision Replies

I was wondering if anyone knew of a more specific date for the Pitzer early decision replies? When i visited they said they would come out december 15th, but on the website it says we will be notified and that the letters will be mailed (on the same day) dec 21st, and another spot says we will be notified by the 22nd. I was also curious, does anybody know how important the supplemental short answer is? i dont think mine was quite as good as it could have been and i was wondering how that may effect the decision

We are waiting and wondering also! Especially since Pomona ED decisions came yesterday, and Claremont will be tomorrow, hoping that Pitzer decisions will follow. It seems likely that Pitzer mails decisions on the 15th, and allows a week for envelopes to arrive - thus the 21st date on the website. (the 22nd was from last year, or so we were told).

Please post here when and how decisions are received. Good luck to all!

I’ll probably be one of the last decisions to be received because I’m all the way in connecticut. :(

The letters are signed… In ORANGE!!! ED decisions are going out tomorrow! #Pitzer #Classof2017

Good luck to all! And hope the orange envelopes arrive fast :)

This post was incredibly helpful! Thanks for the twitter post. I also applied ED and am nervously waiting for my reply . . . in Maine! I wonder how long snail mail takes to come to Maine from Cali. I wish you the best of luck :)

Do you know if they email you? or do they just send the decision in an envelope?

they send it in an envelope, if youre accepted its in a big orange envelope with congratulations written all over it, if you get rejected you get a white envelope

does anybody know how long it takes for mail to make it across the country?

I am guessing you will get the letter today or tomorrow.

I live in Chicago and unexpectedly received my acceptance letter today. Good luck to the rest of you.
