Early Decision Rescission?

<p>I know that I made a silly at this time of the year. I got caught smoking salvia in the dorm. The school did not give me the official decision yet, but I think that I'm probably going to be suspended not because I smoked salvia (the school said that if someone gets caught smoking something legal, it will be regarded as smoking cigarette) but because I broke the fire code by smoking inside the building. I now have to report to Cornell about this incident. I fully regret what I have done. Do you think that I would get rescinded? Any answers would be appreciated...thanks</p>

<p>umm…it may be an issue. I don’t think Cornell will rescind you but make sure you sound really apologetic.</p>

<p>you have dorms in high school? or you were caught at an overnight at cornell? sorry the way you wrote it is confusing, but no matter what it shouldn’t be a big deal - I would be really apologetic and make sure to be much more careful in the future…</p>

<p>yeah i am in boarding school and I will be suspended… I am regretting that i have done it and it was first time i have gotten in any type of trouble in this school. I will not do anything until i graduate…I hope it turns out well…</p>

<p>You better not do anything, even after you graduate. Appeal with the administration since its your first offense of any kind. Angry parents (especially those who pay big bucks to put their child through school) help sometimes?</p>

<p>on a serious note though… If you have a boss from work, or a teacher who is cool, get them to write you a character reinforcing letter saying it was rare thing and that you have been regularly well behaved…</p>
