Early Decision Results Thread

Post your decisions when they arrive. Good luck everyone. We'll shoot for a CC acceptance rate of 90%, sound good?

Well obviously people who don't get accepted are not going to be rushing to post their decisions, especially if they get rejected.

Well I stole this from the Columbia board, who stole it from the MIT board, who prolly stole it from somewhere else, but we can use it too. This way people will be able to see what type of person Swat was looking for this year.

WOW. Congrats to everyone who got in.

congrats to our international members of the class of 2010. now if only we nationals can be as successful.

Yimei and Schoenhs and our "new" member, lalol, hearty congratulations to all of you, the International branch of 2010. Continuing best wishes to our other ED 1 posters! Those letters should start arriving today for those of you who live close by, but for the vast majority of you it will be later this week. Take note that our accepted posters so far have mentioned the obvious effort that they put into the essays, especially "Why Swat?" The "fit' of the person to the college is oh so important, as has been repeatedly said.

hey, yimei, our high school is one of the most competitive in "our country", haha. Actually a feeder school.

Congatulations! I'm sure you will love Swarthmore. Now let's hope for our US applicants, who hopefully will hear today. (I think eventually Swat will go to all email notification, too bad it's not this year!)

ahhhh just please let me in! pretty please Swarthmore. haha. i am getting so anxious here in suburbia PA--you have no idea. how can these people sleep at night knowing that they hold my future in their hands? anyway, off to school i go. won't pay attention at all. i have a feeling i'll get my letter today.
