somehow i got in?
this is awesome

Fantastic, shoegal2!

I bet you thought the mail would NEVER get to Texas.

Thanks cjsb0160 for the code correction.

when do we get emails? as geeky as it sounds, i'd really like a college facebook. or did we get emails? i am away on a trip and havent seen the actual letter yet

sorry, but you won't get an e-mail until orientation (unless they change things).

This may be a silly question, but my GC is no help and y'all are a pretty knowledgable group. I know that, since I was accepted ED, I need to withdraw applications from all other schools. Because I was waiting on Swarthmore, I hadn't actually submitted applications anywhere else, but my teachers sent recommendations to 6 other schools. Do I need to write to those schools anyway?

You probably don't have to because if you haven't submitted your applications they would not have opened up a file for you. Having said that it is still polite just to email or write and inform them/

NJPitcher - If it's any consolation, my son's friend, who's also a baseball player, was deferred ED, but then accepted RD (class of '08). Don't give up hope.

*Decision: Accepted! *
