my SAT score is a 1450.....in terms of major....does what you choose on that question that asks about your possible academic interests affect your chances of admission? I chose biology, chemistry, physics, and pre-med...and some other subjects from the humanities school

the exact choices i picked were: cell biology and biochemistry, chemistry, ecology and evolutionary biology, physics, pre-med, asian studies, and chinese........would you think thats ok?

So what makes Rice your first choice school?

For me personally...the price is amazing for the high-quality education that you're getting. the campus is easily one of the most gorgeous in the nation. i love the small size. houston is a pretty nice city overall. the residential college system and honor code are totally unique.

Only less than 15 days to go! Those "Admission Status Updated" e-mails have been driving me insane. Is anyone just as nervous/excited as I am?!?

S applied ED, AI 203, doesn't have much of a chance. School of engineering. It was his first choice, tho; he kind of blew the writing portion of the SAT II. From Texas. He's got good ECs if that is any help. Wonder if the emails will come out on the 13th, should be the day they mail the packets, right?
