<p>hi everyone, I am applying early to Duke, and I wanted everyone's opinion if I have the chance of getting in. Please tell me your honest truth....</p>

<p>Duke’s Common Data Set (<a href=“http://ir.provost.duke.edu/facts/cds/Duke%20CDS_2011-2012.pdf[/url]”>http://ir.provost.duke.edu/facts/cds/Duke%20CDS_2011-2012.pdf&lt;/a&gt;) shows that the 25/75% range for enrolled freshmen is 2080 - 2300. Your score is obviously well below this range. You don’t specify your rank, but 92% of Duke’s freshmen were in the top 10% of their high school class - unless your school has significant grade deflation, this doesn’t include you.</p>

<p>It is also important to note that these ranges are for enrolled freshmen, so the accepted student range will tend to be even higher.</p>

<p>Your SAT II scores are 57% (Math2) and 66% (USH) - <a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools. These will hurt your application as well.</p>

<p>Even if Duke is not a match, you appear to be a bright, engaged individual. Keep working hard wherever you end up.</p>
