Early Decision vs. Early Evaluation

So I'm leaving tomorrow morning bright and early for my Wellesley overnight... it's in my top two, and if I really love it I want to apply early. However, one catch: I sing, and I'm submitting a recording, but my school's recording studio person can only do it October 21st, while Wellesley's deadline for ED arts' supplements is October 15. Does applying Early Evaluation still show the same level of interest? Are the admissions statistics for each very dissimilar? Thanks so much for any help.

I thought I read somewhere that EE applicants were accepted at about a 50% rate, ED at 61%. I might be wrong.

If I remember correctly, you were concerned about your junior grades. With your other great stats and ECs, you would probably benefit if Wellesley saw your first semester senior grades.

BTW, my D overnighted at Wellesley and loved it.

For what it's worth, Wellesley accepted 47% of early decision applicants for the Class of 2009 and 36% of early evaluation applicants.

Good luck.
