Early Decision vs Georgetown Early Action Issue???

Ok so I am freaking out guys.

I applied for Upenn ED, and accidentally applied for Georgetown EA. Little did I know, Georgetown EA was not restrictive, but that I could not apply to binding programs, such as ED. Now I am in a pickle.

How can I withdraw/rescind my application from Georgetown?? Or is it possible that I can bump my EA application in Georgetown to a Regular Decision Application.

I have finished applying to both schools, I have had an interview done for Georgetown and I think all my teachers have send in their recommendations.

It is a pretty bad situation for me, but Penn is my dream school and I don't want that chance getting shattered because of a careless mistake like this

Thanks for you all helps guys

I would contact your admissions regional rep at Georgetown via email and let him/her know that you want to change your app to regular decision. Apologize for your error. It shouldn’t be a big deal.

Wait what do you mean why admissions regional rep?? Does that mean the person who interviewed me (she was an alumnist) or does that means the admissions department as a whole?

Just contact Georgetown admissions office

Write an e-mail or letter to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and direct them to change your EA to RD. They will require some verification that it is actually you providing the direction, so be prepare to identify yourself. You might want to call them during regular business hours to ask them what action is required. Everything will be fine. This is not a big deal.
