Any wisdom out there on ED and the extent to which an applicant's chances are improved when applying to VSB?
The only public information i found was in regards to EA vs RD and in addition to the absence of a compelling difference (i.e., both in the 40%A range), there was also a lack of distinctive reporting between the College overall and the VSB. ED is such a hard sell to a 16-year-old so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Since Villanova’s Early Action option is non-binding, there is no significant advantage in applying early. What Villanova does is they accept their strongest Early Action candidates. I am pretty sure no EA applicants are outright rejected, If they are not accepted under the EA schedule, their application will be reviewed again during the Regular Decision schedule. You should apply under EA if you would like to receive an admission offer in mid December.
