I THINK THAT'S ALL... PLEASE TELL ME IF I HAVE A GOOD CHANCE... IF YOU FEEL THAT I DON'T HAVE A GOOD CHANCE, PLEASE RECOMMEND ANOTHER SCHOOL! THANKS A BUNCH

Is there an audition required for your program?

yea, there's an audition that i have to do

Our HS provides access to application/ admission/ enrollment data from the past 5 years. Ask your guidance dept. if you can look at your HS's data. For our HS, 100% of students w/ a 3.5 GPA (or better) were admitted to SU (some had SATs less than yours). I'd say your chances are very high.

SU is a great choice for Music Ed with your Sp Ed interest; Music Ed majors are among the hardest working students on that campus. The instructional faculty draws from the Syracuse Symphony.

Other noted Music Ed programs (don't know about the Sp Ed part) are SUNY Potsdam and Case Western Reserve. Although I know less about them, you might also look into Ithaca, Indiana (Bloomington), and Duquesne.

I'm a music ed major at the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam), with a concentration in Strings and Special Education.

I really hate people who, despite their apparent intelligence, post stupid questions like (I have a 5.0 GPA and am state debate champion, built houses in africa for starving families, am president of like every club in school, rocked the SATs...do I have a chance of getting into <insert b-rate="" college="" here="">). Syracuse isnt Harvard, by any stretch of the imagination. You'll get in. The SAT scores arent the greatest, but your GPA certainly counterbalances that</insert>
