Early Decision

Anyone else do ED? Anyone know when we will hear?

i may apply UR on RD

i ve participated an interview with AO from UR this month. I guess I am supposed to apply on its RD,and it may enhance my chance to get into
but since it would not offer me full grants as what i was told by AO during the interview, i have to reconsider this and made up my mind to ED another uni

I'm pretty sure that notification is on Dec. 15th

i applied ED. the deadline was supposed to be nov 1, but on my app status page, it says nov 15. anyway yeah, notification is mid-month. that's december 15, but in reality, i think most of the notifications are received on dec. 16

Do they do the whole big envelope small envelope? Or are they all in the same size ones?

Envelope size doesn't matter. My recos went in standard size envelope, for example.
By the way, is the Rochester admission team visiting Massachusetts? I checked their website, no mention of MA. There was Providence listed, though.

He meant the decisions-
Acceptances come in express mail from Fedex(I believe) so you will know if you are in. It is one of those thin letter size envelopes the shipping companies sell... You know you are in if you have a folder coming your way :)

I was just thinking about this.....this year the deadline for ED was pushed back by two weeks, from Nov 1 to Nov 15. Does that mean our notifications will also come two weeks later as well??? So in late december instead of Dec 15/16???

I doubt it.

Got the acceptance letter today though it was supposed to have arrived yesterday. Had to go to fed ex hq 25 minutes away to pick it up unknowing it if held good news or bad news.

good luck to everyone :)
