Early Decision

Anyone here? In or OOS?

Guess that's why I should take advantage of the preview option!!

Does ANYONE know the date when ED letters come out? I know they say by Dec. 1, but don't they sometimes come out sooner? Ahhh, I don't know if I can wait any longer!! Good luck to everyone!

Yeah, I've gotten conflicting info. From what I understand, you get them BY December 1st, i.e. around the 28-30 of November.

Any ED people from last year know? I'm curious about the difference between receiving mail in state and OOS, also.

Two years ago a friend's daughter found out the day after Thanksgiving, but I think Thanksgiving was later that year. My daughter's really hoping that the letters come BEFORE December 1 since we're going to Philly for the Army/Navy game and the mail might not come before we take off. Good luck to everyone!

I guess in state ED applicants still didn't get a response?

nope =/

in-state and nada yet

For everyone anxiously awaiting the letters, we called the admissions office and they just sent the ED letters out TODAY, which means out of staters prob won't get them till thursday or friday.

ahhh the suspense is killing me!

Many thanks for the update

Do you think somone who lives in Northern Virginia could possibly get it tomorrow? Or will I have to wait till thursday?

They just sent them out TODAY? That sucks. (But thanks for telling us, OjosAzul).

The thing is, I'm signed up for the SAT II on Saturday (morning, obviously) because if I don't get in, I need an additional subject test for GTown. But if I don't get the letter by then (here in PA, outside of Philly) I'll have to take them no matter what. And Saturday's my birthday! Woe.

I have no idea how long it'll take to get from VA to PA, but I really really hope it's by Friday. Ha, yet another way applying to W&M OOS stinks.

(I apologize for the profoundly self-centered post).

My thoughts are that NoVA students could get them as early as tomorrow (Wednesday) but certainly no later than Thursday!

One of my friends found out she was admitted here today.

i just got mine today (11/28) , but i live in NoVa, so it might be different of oos-ers.

Was going to UW-Madison, but hey, 31,000$ a year or 7,000$ a year.... hmmmm

My daughter's in! Go Tribe!

blech, I'm in Nova too but I didnt get my letter today

Hi. For those of you accepted early decision, was your letter in a big or small envelope?

Sorry, you can disregard the message I left above. I did it before I knew how to started a new post.

welcome and congrats to those who got in =)

I'm in, found out by mail on 11/29 (surprise, i know) in a big envelope, to answer wmry's question.
