I applied to Pitzer ED this year and got in, and I'm extremely happy about it. Is there anyone else who applied ED and got in/didn't get in? I honestly thought I wouldn't get in, because I have relatively weak ECs, but it's clear they liked my academic record.

Stats:
GPA: 3.55/4 Pitzer unweighted, 4.33/5 high school weighted
SATs: 690 Critical Reading, 650 Math, 700 Writing (I submitted them)
SATIIs (I didn't send these, I just found them out): 700 Literature, 650 Math I
Class Rank: Top 24%
ECs: various music lessons, two years of singing in the select choral group, yearbook assistant editor
Essays and recommendations were very good.
Awards: Honor Roll for a couple years, Manga Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam in 2005, named to state honor choir

I'm from a very, very competitive public high school in metro Boston (Massachusetts, obviously). It probably helped that I came to visit them for a day from so far away, and I think my interview went pretty well.

I also think that despite my anemic ECs, I established a clear interest with them rather than just having a list of them. I also think I was able to establish that I really wanted to go to Pitzer, so anyone trying to get in should probably put a lot of effort into the supplemental essay.

I don't know how selective they were this year ED, since this is their first year using ED. Did anyone else apply ED? Deferred/Accepted?
