What happens if one applies early decision to a school such as Tisch at NYU, and get accepted, but then can't go because of financial reasons, are you still able to apply to other schools and reject the offer made by Tisch?

When you apply early decision you sign a commitment stating that you will attend that school regardless of your other applications once you get accepted. However, you can legally decline the admission in case of financial reasons (not enough aid). Many people do so.

Que es de ti?

Gracias =)

eee nada ahi, viendo como/donde aplico y sufriendo con deadlines del IB =P tu ya te vas a tisch en poco tiempo no?

What if you receive merit aid, but it is not the package you were hoping for? Or is it based only on need-based aid?

I’m guessing from originalcrush’s answer that financial reasons means you just can’t afford it, even if they give you a lot of money in different ways of aid. =/
