<p>So last year Wesleyan got a 40 percent jump in ED apps. I figured apps would have to balance out and go down this year after such a leap. No such luck. Apparently they have another 10 percent increase. Argh. Losing hope.

<p>Does anyone know how applicants are notified? I know the web site says that ED1 applicants are notified on line 12/15. Do they email you? Do you check your status through your Wed ID? How is it done? Also, is there a time to check? What time will you begin checking? Good luck and thanks!</p>
<p>I think we’ll be notified by e-mail as WesCheck is only used to check the status of application materials. But I’m not completely sure. I’m not sure about the time, either, but I’ll probably check that morning.</p>
<p>It does suck for us but that’s good for Wes. Hopefully it won’t stop us from getting in lol. And yes, nine days! I can’t believe it. It’s coming up so fast.</p>
<p>I’m not sure about the time either. Last year, it looks like ED II was released at 9:00 AM and RD was at 2:00 PM, both fairly awkward times, lol. They should send an e-mail in the next week telling us the exact time.
I don’t think I’ve gone 15 minutes for the past week without thinking about it, haha. Did you guys finish your other apps?</p>

<p>I know I should be ready, but honestly, I’m too distracted to even finish other apps. I’m gonna be screwed… oh well. The number of times I’ve posted today is a testament to how little I can focus on other things haha.</p>

<p>PMP, why don’t you start one? It doesn’t just have to be just for Wes students, either. I’m sure plenty of kids are feeling as you do about the days passing slowly. I’m a mom, but I’m obsessing like an applicant. I even have a countdown on my desktop. I wondered why there wasn’t a Wes ED thread. Start one! I’ll be you get a lot of posts.</p>
