Early Decisions are available online!!!!

I too got deferred. And I second that, Janet. I feel a lot better to hear that there were others.

Daughter was also deferred...not taking it too well. Congrats to all of those who are in. Good luck to all deferees. It seems like there are alot of us this year.

i was defferred. oh well.

overstressed, how did u get those stats? and of the ED applicants, how does accep/defer/reject percentages break down?

i was also accepted!!

how can we know about the decision?... in status?...or

i am also deferred

to dictionary.com:

I found out from an admissions officer and my interviewer when I interviewed at WashU in October. They said that those were roughly the numbers. I hope that helps!

wow, why were so many people deferred?!

I don't know but there seem to a lot of us in the deferred "club."

My friend just called me to tell me she was deferred...so upset. I reallllllly want her to get in!

Remember guys, deferred doesn't equal rejected!!

deferred, but I got accepted to the University of Chicago, so I'm happy!

I just got my package! I'm so excited... greatest moment of my life.

We're split almost 50/50 between accepted and deffered. No one rejected so far so that's good.

did anyone else apply early decision to Washington University as sort of a backup, a way to increase their chances? but using my knowledge from AP Statistics, you can't take a sample from College Confidential and generalize it to the entire applicant population. just because about half got accepted, and no one got rejected doesn't mean that 50% are accepted in reality. just my input.

To be honest I did. Even though I really do like Wash U I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to go there. I kept wavering.

And yes, I think realistically its like 25%-50%-25%

Accepted: )
Got that package in the mail today.

I made a facebook group "Washington University Class of 2012". Join it so we can get to know our future classmates : )
