Early Decison!!!

Did anyone apply to NYU and was ''accepted'' send them the November SAT subject scores after the ED deadline?(how long will it take to know the Nov. test score?)
The admission officer said they might not guarantee...but I still wanna know if it's possible?
Do you think it's wise to apply ED to NYU if I haven't taken SAT2?
ED might shows my great interest in NYU and that's why I'm planning to do so...but I'm really afraid about the deadline issues...oh...I know that no one can predict the result..but I stil want to hear someone's advice..
I'll appreciate if any of you can say your opinions!!

Jenny, which NYU college are you interested in? If it's one that requires the SAT subject tests, I wouldn't risk applying E.D. They clearly tell you that there's no guarantee that scores of any tests taken after October will be considered, so if you are applying to a college that requires those scores, and they're NOT considered, I don't see how you could receive an offer of acceptance. I think the only kids who should even consider risking E.D. when they're taking Nov. tests are those who have already taken the required SATs and are just trying to improve their scores by taking them again. If you are applying to Tisch, or to Steinhardt for music or studio art, you are not required to submit SAT subject test scores. Good luck to you!

That's what I did and I was told numerous times from guidance counselors and people at the admissions office that it wouldn't be a problem. I applied to CAS ED, which requires 2 SATII scores and it wasn't a problem, I wouldn't worry about it (I took one SATII some month junior year, and the 2nd in November of my senior year). I know it's tough to not be so sure about it, so my answer probably won't help, but I think if you go to one of the NYU open houses and ask someone, they'd say it'd be fine.

Thanks for your replies : )
BTW,I notice that NYU does not put emphasis on the writing score during the admission process...but I actually have better grade in writing than in critical reading section...does that mean it's better for me to apply to other school that puts equal weight on each section???

yea....i hv that problem too...i did real well in writing and not so well in cr...anyone?

same, did awesome on writing and so-so on CR and math.

i did really well in writing, pretty well in reading, and not so great in math...i got in sooo yeah, I wouldn't change my plans b/c of that

I see~
Well..I think the most important thing is to improve my CR score now...
there're only 3 weeks left!!!

Hahahahaha....I'm totally laughing at you....

that's very kind of you.
