Early Evaluation Applicants! (Okay, RD, too)

I used the ACT only, as well. My SAT scores weren't bad, but I just felt more confident sending in my ACT for some reason.

=) I can't wait to know if you all got in or not! That wayyyy you all can join the facebook group and we can all talk! The ED girls are already having a blast, I hope you girls can join in!

I just switched my app to EE... they are so incredibly nice in that office. I freaked out a little when I heard there were multiple other Nina *******s (insert common Jewish lastname) applying. I don't know why that threw me?

Does anyone know if admissions look at Midyear reports before or after deciding our EE fates?

Well, they were already looking at apps now, so probably only if they get them in time.

I sent in my ACT score, too. :P Oooh, creepy, they are looking at our apps now! (Well, now they are probably sleeping/getting ready to, ahaha).

:), Catsushi!

do you know if, for the girls who already got accepted, they will still look at the rest of the grades of our senior year, and how low do we have to get before we get revoked (always better to know lol..)

Sam, I think we have to send in that midyear report as soon as our grades are available. Lol and I would like to know too about how low our grades must get before we get our admissions revoked! I think that as long as we finish off the year with average/above average grades, we should be fine. I mean, if the drop in our grades is DRASTIC, then they'll probably revoke.

I only sent my ACT score also. Does anyone know when EE results come out? and how "accurate" they are?

I'm RD but joining in this thread :) I sent both my ACT and SAT scores, but my ACT score is way better so I guess they'll just look at that.

Just from looking at previous posts: a "likely" means you're pretty much in knock on wood; "not likely" you're pretty much you're out. a "possible" is like a 25% acceptance rate? that number might be total bs though

ugh I applied EE! sooooo nervous. I also only did ACT's; my SAT's were okay, but comparatively speaking, my ACT's were way higher.

do you guys think that the actual letters will arrive on the 28th? Because at another school I applied ED to (i was rejected... whatever) the letters arrived on the actual date, but for some of my friends they received theirs from other colleges like a few days before.

I think it depends on what the letter says. For ED, acceptance letters arrive faster because they are sent by priority mail. I do not know if that will be the case for EE. I think they will arrive on the actual day. :P

You'll probably receive the actual letter before. ED decisions were to come out on the 15th, but girls began receiving them on the 8th and I received mine on the 11th. So, expect it a few days before!

I applied EE too! I'm really nervous and excited :)

BrianJonesisGod, do you mind if I ask you wha some of your stats are? I'm just wanting to compare mine with someone who's already gotten in... giving me a bit more of an awareness of my capability to get accepted.

((I so hope I do... this is where I have to be!!))

I applied to EE too. They notify in end of Feb.

Oooh I hope my essay was okay. I feel like it was strong, but who am I to judge?

Is Wellesley the only school that does EE? It's kind of weird how they give out "unofficial" acceptance/rejection notifications.

RD'er here. Darn-I wish I would've applied EE though.

You know, I don't think it makes that much of a difference.
