i realllllllllllllly want that likely letter. like, now. :(

ME FRIGGIN TOO!!! aiego...

my mailman doesn't get out of his van, he just slides the mail in through the window. i guess i'll have to time it just right in order to maul him.

haha. I would imagine that most mailmen (or at least the wise ones) take a long weekend vacation around april 1st every year. Just imagine their surprise when girls across the country attack them in late February!

But I actually like my mailman, so I may have to take my anger out by smashing a plate or two....or if I get lucky, I'll prolly just start screaming :)

oh no I'll be on vacation in Floriday from the 18th to the 25th!! Guess I won't find out until I get home :( No opportunity to maul my mailman!

i have been killing myself for a week. i was like talking to my frds with the exact same start for sooo long ---"feb only has 28 days, XX days left". i guess most ppl did EE, and we are all waiting for the LATE FEB LETTER! now i know about the 18th to 25th....gosh...i m soooo nervous!!!!! i want a LIKELY!!!!!!!!!
i am getting so worried b/c apparently all the ppl applied wellesley are very good, and wellesley do reject many ppl every year.AHHH, my confidence is gone.

calm down! there's nothing you can do right now right?
well, for me, i know 100% that i will be kicked out - sigh - but i am still alive and trying to enjoy my life and hope for a better chance in other colleges...

seriously..i'm so nervous....

it's going to suck to have to trudge on with school with an "unlikely" or "possible" letter. so much added stress.

hey girls
i was so relieved after i know that the earliest day gonna be around the 18th instead of the 28th, but i just realize that even the 18th is about another 6 days, which means one more week to wait.
and i am wondering which is gonna hurt my nerve more, possible or unlikely?

definitely the possible.

I would rather get a likely...hehehe.

Yeah, I'm starting to get nervous now : / A possible would definitely fray my nerves more, but at least then I can start heavily lobbying the Admissions Office, haha. Maybe I'll bake them a cake version of Lake Waban.

i would be ok with a possible, but if i get an unlikely i think i am going to cry knowing that they didnt even think i was really worth consideration

I'm definitely screwed if I don't get a likely. I only have one safety school which I really don't want to attend. Please Heavenly Father, give me a likely!

Would anybody like to do a spiritual worship dance around the fire w/ me? I heard it helps. teehee

h20nline, i know exactly what you mean...i don't want to go to my safety!!

i like how you have a pagan ritual and a prayer in the same post. ;)

THINK: LIKELY!

Dear, dear you flatter me. I admit I am a bit ridiculous but aren't we all? I'll pray for us to get a likely. I'd like to meet you. :)

safety school? i don even have a safety school, i am so determined not to go to those schools where i will feel so miserable.
H20line, i would really do it if it helps! hohohoho
anyway, i attacked my mailbox today, nothin important.

i'd like to meet you too! :) so let's all wish extra hard.

i'll treat you all to ice cream if we get likely letters and end up at swelles. if i don't...i'm afraid i will have to treat MYSELF to a gallon or two to console myself.

Umm, if you don't have a Safety school, perhaps you're not really smart enough to belong at Wellesley in the first place. If you are determined to be miserable at any other school, that says more about your deficits than those of the other schools. I mean, good luck and everything but get a grip.

My D sent out 11 applications to some very fine schools. She already has acceptances from others but was deferred in ED at Wellesley. This is still her favorite, but we are finding out that there are some stellar colleges and universities in North America and she will go to one of them. Apparently, it is not the end of the world not to get in to Wellesley. After all, the whole process is a bit of a crap shoot. One may miss Wellesley and get accepted to Williams or Reed or Swarthmore?? Go figure.

Don't worry about it. If you are good enough to even meet the basics for application to Wellesley, you must be pretty good.
