Hello,
I am wondering if I will be viewed in a negative light if I graduate a year early from undergrad? Will grad schools look at my age as a factor? Should I just stay in college for the extra year?

Have you accomplished what you need to be competitive for those schools? If yes, they won’t care that you finished early or a little late.

I have a friend who graduated in 3 years from Carnegie Mellon (with research results and several graduate courses under his belt already) and went on to MIT for grad school. He only applied to tippy top programs in his third year, with the intention to stay for a fourth year and reapply more broadly if he didn’t get accepted.

What If one has to graduate early because of money even if one is in the top 1% of the class? What will be the best option? Get money somehow and stay another year to finish all the courses require?

As MaceVindaloo already said:
If you don’t think you’re competitive after having completed one less year than most applicants, only then is graduating in 3 years a disadvantage. Not sure what you mean by “staying another year to finish required courses.” You can’t graduate, be it in 3 or 4 years, without finishing all required courses.
