Hi I am a 16 year old, soon to be a High school Junior, however, I am currently debating graduating early from high school. As of right now I need three credits to graduate, that I could have taken my sophomore year and graduated then. I need 1 English credit, 1 vocational credit (culinary/carpentry), and 1 credit of Government and Economics. I have made A’s all throughout high school, and the only reason i don’t have a 4.0 gpa is because of the high school classes I took in middle school. I have a cumulative gpa of 3.94 and a weighted gpa of 4.34, and right now I have 19.5 credits. I have already taken 4 AP classes and 5 honors classes. I am mature enough to handle college but I have my heart set on ivy league. I’m not sure if I can get in if I graduate this school year, so I was wondering what you all think I should do. If I do graduate early I would take 5 AP classes next year. I have been on 3 Varsity sports team since I started High school. I have had a job since I was 14, and recently added another. I am in the National Honor Society, and have one multiple awards for highest gpa in my honors and AP classes. I have over a 100 hours of community service. I just need to know whether or not I would have a chance of getting in to an Ivy League school, such as Princeton, if I graduated early. I would also love to hear people’s stories about there experiences with Ivy League admissions, or early graduation.
Before I forget this is my schedule.

I would not recommend graduating early. While you may feel you are mature enough to handle college, you will be two years younger than your peers in your class, which can make you feel like an odd one out. Also, you’ll miss out on the amazing parts of senior year! Don’t rush high school
