Early Graduation

Would it be outrageous for me to graduate in 3 years, being pre-med, as I would have completed all the pre-med requirements by the end of junior year. That I suppose means taking the MCAT in the spring of sophomore year, which I see as no grave problem be it I am adequately prepared. What do you think?

If you apply directly it'll mean applying with just two years of coursework under your belt, while everybody else can provide adcoms with 50% more information, making them a much surer bet.

Thanks, I read the post you referred to, and let me see if I understand this correctly: if one applies to medical schools his junior year and then, upon acceptance, takes a year off, there are theoretically little to no disadvantages? If there is a disadvantage, would it be the inadequacy of time for getting clinical experience or something else? Would medical schools frown upon those who completed college in just 3 years?

Just make sure you do something useful with your year off and its fine. Save yourself the years worth of tuition ..

I can't imagine any disadvantages.
