Can you graduate from USC in 3 years? If so, how?

It’s possible, since some majors require fewer credits than others. I think many Business Administration majors can graduate in 3 years if they come in with AP credit, and take the full course load every semester. It all depends on how you schedule your classes so that you can take the full courseload (18 credits a semester) or even pay to do more than that, and if you take summer school, etc.

Im gna be a Marshall business student, do a lot of ppl do this, and are there any disadvantages/ advantages i should be aware about. I think I will get an initial 20 credits from IB diploma

I’m not too sure if many people do this, but from what I was told by my friend who is a business major many people choose to double major or minor, or even double minor. I feel that college is an amazing experience and that it’s worth it to go through it for all 4 years (unless there are some other issues such as finances). Also, that extra year gives you more time to get experience with internships and such so that when you graduate, you have a great resume and are an attractive employee for employers. Plus an extra minor or major will definitely help you be more well-rounded.

You can still probably graduate early with a minor too. My friend’s sister was an accounting major and minored in music industry, and she graduated a semester early. She started working for an accounting firm in January but got to walk with her class for commencement in May.

So going for 3 years means no double major? Im pretty interested in minors, or double majoring. I was thinking that early grad could mean an extra year of good work experience too, for MBA.

Here are the classes you need to take:

[USC Catalogue: The Schools: USC Marshall School of Business: Undergraduate Degrees](http://www.usc.edu/dept/publications/cat2009/schools/business/undergraduate.html#bachelor)

The Catalogue is a great resource. You can look for information on minors and double majoring as well. There is a sample schedule in the link I posted, so you can get a feel for what your schedule will be like. Remember you will normally take 16-18 credits a semester… any more than that you will have to pay for each unit (~$1200 a unit I think? But there is a new scholarship that will cover it if you minor or double major and get > 3.75 GPA). You can move stuff around and get rid of classes that you can fulfill with AP credit. Also remember you need to take 6 categories of GEs and you have a foreign language requirement.

once you get to USC, you’re not gonna want to leave a minute before you have to. trust me, you’ll want to stay all four years

Yeah, I was easily on track to graduate in 3 years, maybe 2.5 if I wanted too. And then came majors 2 and 3 :D

oh wow nice, il guess well see what happens when i get there lol
