<p>I'll be done with IGETC by the end of this Summer 2012 semester. Can I go ahead and get my IGETC certification done by my community college even if the certification isn't going to be sent anywhere just yet? </p>

<p>Yes, you can start the certification process during any semester in which you finish the IGETC requirements. I think it’s probably better too, so you’ll have it done and your final transcripts don’t have to be stalled when you need them.</p>
<p>I don’t know about your CC but for my CC…they certify IGETC and send transcripts at the same time. We request to send transcripts through our school website and there’s an option to certify and send transcripts. I didn’t do that till waaay after. After I got accepted to the schools.</p>
