Early Masters Study

I know students can apply to take 2 or 3 graduate level courses in their senior year. How hard is it to be accepted into these early masters study programs?

Hmm, the general program requires that you have a 3.2 GPA or better in the department you wish to get the MA for. You speak to the head of the department in your junior year if you want to be in the program and then they evaluate whether or not you can be in the program. The good thing about the accelerated BA/MA program is that you don’t have to test for the GRE if you can follow the graduate courses. I think the lowest grade you need to get is a B. Though if you want to get financial aid, GRE scores are needed.

However, the English MA program procedures are a little different. Which department were you thinking of doing the early MA for?

I’d be applying for it in English. Do you know how the English program differs from other departments?

No idea how the liberal arts school does it. CBA has a five year BS/MBA for GBA. It requires at least a 3.5 and at least a 600 on the GMAT. You still need to submit the application for admission and can be rejected.
