Early Move-In

so if we signed up for early move-in in september, will that put us in housing with other people who do early move-in, or will it be random and some dorms will only have some of the people for the first 2 nights?

How do we sign up for that?

Chances are, your room/roomate have already been selected for you. Early move in would probably just get you settled in your suite 2 days before everyone else. Aside from avoiding the obligatory move-in-madness, I don't really see the advantage of being at UCSD 2 days early. I assure you there will be nobody around and NOTHING to do.

the only reason i have it is kuz my mom decided that would be the time to do orientation for me. how nice of her. but i am glad that i get to avoid the madness.

I am doing the early move-in also. I am pretty sure you move into your assigned dorm room.

Slorg-you would have signed up for it when you signed up for orientation, though I dunno, you might be able to go back and change your options so you can do it.

i think the deadline to sign up was the 7th? i might be clinically insane though...

So wait, was this early move-in offered on the newstudent.ucsd.edu pages for your respective colleges? It sure wasn't on Warrens.....

I am in Revelle, and it was an option when I was signing up for orientation. Maybe it is just an option if you do the September Orientation.

i have no clue. my mom did it while i was at work without asking me. im in marshall if you didn't know.
