Early notification of SCEA decisions?

Hello y'all,

I was just wondering if there could possibly be any way to learn about admissions results before the Dec 16 release date posted on the Princeton Application Tracker--e.g. calling the admissions office and asking very politely? I'd guess it's very likely that the school would have a complete list at least a few days before the "release date." Or is calling the school a big no-no?

You really have to learn how to be patient. The waiting goes so fast that pretty much the next thing that you see will be your decision results.

Haha I know, I really should, I hear that all the time. Still though, do you think there’s any chance that’s even possible? Thanks.

And what if everyone decided to call? If that wouldn’t work, what’s so special about you? Do you think nobody else wants to know? There is no nice way to say it, so Grow Up and Get Over Yourself.

Whoa, chill, take it easy. I apologize if it came across that way, but that’s not what I meant at all. It’s just that my grandmother’s in the hospital and I thought that it’d be great if I had any good news to make her feel any better, it would be worth it, esp. since she practically raised me and she’s so very anxious + worried about me. No offense intended.

They will not make an exception for you.
