<p>Hi everyone! I have a friend who sent out an application to one of his uni's mid novemeber (not early admission) and recieved notification today.. do all universities inform candidates as soon as possible or is it the fixed april 1 date?</p>

And sometimes colleges send out likely letters. But not really notifications this early unless your friend applied for the early round.</p>

<p>Generally to recruited athletes. Some schools send likely letters to the top overall applicants that they know will be widely desired, but I’m not sure if Harvard sends academic likely letters</p>
