Congratulations everyone! :D

I really wish I knew if they sent these letters to internationals too... But that'll take longer, I guess.

Ugh - my school still hasn't sent out mid-year grades - I wish I could have been accepted early. o wellz. congratulations everyone!

Congrats everyone! I jsut got my acceptance today as well. :D

I got my acceptance letter this past Thursday!

I am BEYOND excited to be a potential member of the Mac class of '13 [:

And for those interested, here are my stats..

SAT: 2160 [740cr, 680m, 740w]
ACT: 33 [36e, 31m, 36cr, 31s]
GPA: unweighted [3.8] weighted [109/120]
CLASS RANK: 24/544

No early-regular decision letter, but strangely, we received in the mail today the 08-09 course catalogue from Macalester! (Not sure why, since I don't think my daughter ever requested one.)

But we will continue to wait for a letter from Macalester (acceptance or rejection)...

We can infer from my stats that Mac probably looked at applicants very holistically, as I'm definitely not the brightest shining student here.

*GPA: 3.55 UW (slight downward trend, and a 3.2 average first semester of senior year)
*ACT: 31
*SAT: 1960
*SAT II: World- 800; Bio-E 740; English 650

Good rec letters.... accept the online status check still says they haven't received my second teacher rec. Lot's of EC's, including political campaigning, academic team, drama club, and science fair.

I didn't interview, and I felt my "Why Macalester" was incredibly weak and generic; I talked it being in St. Paul. Wow, that's unique.

So in short, I'm still pretty amazed they let me in! Being a male from Kentucky might have helped.

My stats were a lot like yours redknight, though I got in ED1.
