Congratulations! My S loves Williams.

Congratulations! You may not have had perfect scores, but you have an incredibly impressive record overall. Williams (or Rice) will be fortunate to have you as a student.

Owlie, I generally hesitate to offer "chances" but I was confident two months ago that you'd get an offer from Williams. My son's a recent graduate and his experience was extremely positive. He'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I'm sure you'll have some other attractive options as well, but from the way you describe yourself I'd think you and Williams would be a good fit. Congratulations!

How'd you get such an early response?

Because she is just that awesome. I wonder if we'll be hearing from anyone else who has already been accepted.

the "early writes" have officially begun. congrats owlie.......1st out of 800 is mind blowing!

Congratulations! You've got excellent stats (1/799? wow!), you totally deserve it!

And the rest of us? Will have to wait till April.

congrats! and you are so modest too (referring to your comment about class rank) ! very well deserved indeed :)

i'm not expecting a likely letter but if they were to send one to an international applicant do you think they would sent it regular mail or do something by e-mail?

Congrats Owlie!

I just got my acceptance letter from Williams yesterday! It was the best surprise ever! I really like this early write system. (I think that's what they call it)

congratulations! Are you going for sure?

Congratulations to all early-write (and regular-write) acceptees -- the Purple Valley is a special place. If you choose to go, enjoy your time there -- it'll fly by if you take advantage of all the opportunities offered.

wow congratulations guys!

Congratulations! I got my application received postcard after that you got accepted lol

Are you sure you got acceptances? My friend who is writing my peer rec just called Williams because he was worried it was too late. They said they weren't even sending out acceptances yet.

These are acceptances - Williams sends out early acceptances ("early writes") to a select group of students each year.
