Early Release Senior Year

Hello! I am a rising senior, and I am considering applying for early release. I would apply to leave a period early every day and I would find an internship (at a local non-profit) and do work for my own non-profit that is currently in action. I want to apply to George Washington University, American, Georgetown, Chapel Hill, NC State, Wake Forest, and Elon. Do you think these schools will accept or frown upon early release?

My Junior schedule is:
AP European History
AP English 1
AFM
Honors Chemistry
AP US Government
Latin 3
Honors American History Part 1
Chamber Choir (Honors credit)

Possible Senior schedule is:
AP English 2
AP Stat
AP Environmental Science
AP Comparative Government
AP Macro.
AP Latin
Honors History Part 2
Chamber Choir (Honors credit)

*If I get early release, I will not get ALL of these classes, but if I do get all APs, I feel like I would be fine since I have extra time.

Let me know what you think!! Thank you.

I think that schedule looks fine (with early release). Although colleges would like to see you have a full schedule, I think all of those APs make up for that.

If you get in all the APs and do something valuable with your time, I don’t see any issue.

I think your better off spending your time doing an internship and working on your own non-profit than taking another AP. Schools really want to see you engage deeply in things you care about. It will give you great subject matter for college essays and make you interesting, but more importantly, you will be real. And engaged. Another AP…boring and typical. You have plenty. If your grades are strong, do what you care about. IMHO…
