we are shooting the old school .22 s that they've had for like 45 years or so, so out equipment is a little out of date, but it's still fun. the varsity rifle team was disbanded for reasons they will not tell me, and now we're back but as a club. it's like we're on probation for right now. we do have a new range master, he's really cool, and we have a new coach for rifle. it's starting to get to be a bigger thing again! yay

Congratulation's

As the world becomes more complex and the threats to peace come from asymmetrical assaults on both our military and the world economy, you will find that Kings Point will have prepared you better to lead in this dynamic than any other Academy or college in the world.

Thanks is2day4him, He's been shooting .22cal for the past 5-6 yrs for his small team here in LA-Lower Alabama. They also shoot shotguns and black powder weapons. He's been a collector of WWI and WWII weapons. LFWB dad is right on the money-KP's preparation is unmatched anywhere. It is fortunate and unfortunate KP is shadowed by the Big 3 Academies. My opinion is the same-KP is the Best School you can find!

what's nice about KP is the fact that it is shadowed by the others, it keeps a lot of the guys with the rock star mentality out of here. there are a few, but not like the other academies, the people here are here for business, not to look cool. it's a great place to be.

I'm filling out parts I and II of the application, but I don't take the SAT until late January. Should I mail the application without the scores or hold on to them until i take the test. Thanks-John

send them what you have and put a note in there saying what the deal is with the SAT. it's the best way to avoid being hastled about it. i had to do something similar, and just remember to have the scores sent directly here. : )

one thing to remember is that KP will look at your high school transcript all the way up to graduation. most of my friends started slacking SR. year when they got accepted into a college, so keep up the hard work in high school up until the last day, it will pay off

unless you go from A's and B's to straight D's, you'll be fine. The admissions know that people will slack off their 2nd trimester in HS. If you get a C or two, don't worry about it, its not the end of the world.
