I heard people have heard there decision on October 22nd. From the other posts I've read, many of the students that have been accepted are being admitted into LSA and engineering. Any one hear from the Nursing School yet? I got my stuff in early and haven't heard yet.

^ I was admitted to the nursing school yesterday. My stats are up on the Decisions forum (1st page). When did you get your stuff in? Mine was checked in on WA by 9/25/09…

Mine was probably in about that time or earlier

Just bumping this up. Curious if anyone else has been admitted through early application to the nursing school.

smart - congratulations. I think UMich Ann Arbor is the best undergraduate nursing school in the country (I know the rankings are only for grad programs). I cannot possibly see any downside to studying nursing at Umich Ann Arbor.

Where are ALL the nursing clinical hours performed?

Clinicals are performed at a variety of locations - some at the hospital itself. But some clinicals are 20 miles away.

You raise a good point. Because of the clinicals, having an automobile is exceedingly desirable for an upper class nursing student.

My point was just to emphasize that ALL programs have SOME fleas. For instance: How much better would the UMich program be if it were located where Miami FL is?
UMich has a GREAT Nursing program and is supposedly a fantastic University. I’m sure any serious student would be happy there.
