Early Response to Ross

Hey guys
i want to go to michigan by applying the application by the nov 1 due date. since its rolling, i asked my counselor a few weeks back that i wanted her to write the rec letter and send everything by oct 10. but now she says she cant send it by then and that she can only send it by the nov 1 due date. arg.
but i really need her to send it by nov 1 cuz i want to be considered for Ross by doing the early response. so is this early response to Ross, rolling like admission to michigan?
(even if i hand it by nov 1 due date do i have the same admission rate as a person who applied say, sept1?) thanks

Explain to you counselor that you need to apply as early as possible to get in.

shes new and im not sure if she completely understands the rolling process. ive told her quite some time ago, i need her to have them in early (by oct 10) and she said yes. now shes saying she cant…and i ve tried explaining to her bout the rolling thing but… all she says is she cant have them done till oct 31

Wow thats a horrible counselor…Its a first come, first serve basis so she is hurting your chances.

Also make sure she does it before the very last minute because there could be a problem in the mail or something

Yeah, the sooner the better. Just so you guys know though, as long as you get your application postmarked by November 2, you’ll still qualify for early response. They added a day for some reason. Jody Gore from U of M told us.

Yep, just make sure all your stuff gets in before Nov 1 (on the online system).

However, yosup and ron are right, your chances decrease the later you submit (unless you’re a borderline applicants <- read the main ER thread for more about this)

I’m an international so my chances decreases just by that … i’m trying to convince her right now through email… hopefully she gets it done soon
