Early Scores

Who will be paying the 8 dollars to see their december scores THIS TUESDAY??

yep, i probably will give in, like always!

oh yes - i will be for sure!

count me in

me2!!!!!!!!

I will definitely pay the $8. I just hope my composite score did not stay the same or get worse. I really do need higher than 26 for these colleges. With a 26 I won't be getting into Notre Dame, BC, Tufts, or any other good schools for that matter.

yeah, ndjake, i share your pain.

while im only a jr, i too hope my score didnt stay the same. im hoping for at least a one point jump. 2 points would be amazing but im tyring to be realistic here (and even that requires optimism)...

How early do you think the ACT Scores will be available on Tuesday for most people?

As early as 12:00 AM?

It was about 9:30-10 AM Central for the Oct. test if that helps any. I remember being so peeved! I checked it at 9:15 as I was getting ready for school - they weren't home. Fast forward 15 minutes and at 9:30 they were up. I had to wait an entire day... so peeved.

Yeah, October scores were out late. They're supposed to come out around 6 am central, but they were up 6 am eastern September. No chance 12 am.

i got my scores at around 7 central for oct.

when can you see your score if you don't pay to see it early?

If your scores are up online, and you didn't take writing, they are already hitting the mail. So it would be around the end of next week. If you did take writing, you have to wait another two or three weeks to get them in the mail. By then it's possible online scores will be free.

I had to test-date change my test (I took it in December in place for February)..

After calling ACT I was told that I could not pay the fee because I was not into the system yet.

Should I call again? Will I still be able to see my scores online on Tuesday>?

Hey guys, I took the test as a Standby taker. Will my scores definetly be delayed? If so, how long is it usually? Any past standby takers have first hand experience?

nathan,
You won't be able to see your scores until you pay. I would call again on Monday, see if you can pay; if not, call again on Tuesday. If your scores are ready, you should be able to pay the change fee over the phone and then get your scores online immediately.

penny,
Depends... if you put the exact same information on your registration sheet and answer sheet, including SSN, date of birth, and first 5 letters of last name, your scores might not be delayed very long. If you didn't, they could take six weeks longer than the initial release.

I just called ACT only to discover that
1) They have not (as far as their system states) received my score, or they have yet to score it.
2) I cannot see my scores because my test has yet to be scored, and I need to wait for the $20 test date change bill before I can see my scores.
3) My scores will not be available tommorow.

Great. And I had my hopes up.

sat is much better...

nathanmc.....why have your scores not been scored

excited for tomorrow. they better be up

Headcase, I agree with you on this one. Why can't they just release the scores for free?
