Early sign of possible admission?

One of the schools that I am extremely interested in, Georgia Tech, is a definite reach for me. I got differed EA, but my GC has called the admissions officer and talked to her quite a bit about my application. Last night I got an email from GT saying that my Fin Aid was incomplete, and when I logged in the only thing missing 'missing' was extra documents that had just asked for, My GC thinks that this is a good sign because they wouldn't go through my fafsa that in depth if I was going to be flat out rejected. Do you think that's true?

Financial aid and admissions tend to be processed by two different offices with two different sets of requirements. I wouldn’t read too much into it, the process is too mysterious for that.

May be, may be not. FA office may want to receive all required documents even before admission decision but it does not mean they are working on your FA package. As they may just want to buy some time since they don’t have much time to complete the FA package after RD decision is made…
