Early Write(?)

<p>Early Write, where Williams sends out letters before the notification deadline to 200 "well-qualified" applicants is a little mysterious to me. Does anyone know when they do it, or even what it is?</p>

<p>It’s an early acceptance. Last year, the letters and admission packets for early writes came early March, about a month before regular admissions notification.</p>

<p>I’ve read on CC that they come as early as late February.</p>

<p>The posts would be more accurate as I’m just going on memory. But all the early writes get sent out at the same time.</p>

<p>I believe that the Williams early writes have started arriving. I’m not sure if they are just for athletes, or for everyone.</p>

<p>It wasn’t an early write. An acquaintance of mine is an athletic recruit. She got an acceptance call from admissions because of national signing day. Not an early write.</p>

<p>^That makes more sense. From what I can tell, early writes are typically sent around the last week of February or first week of March.</p>

<p>No, but I’m not expecting anything to come. Early writes should be going out soon, though.</p>
