For early-write admitted students, can you login at http://www.smith.edu/admission/admit/ ?

@ccdfor2
No, I’m not able to. I didn’t notice that until you mentioned it. I assume you cannot either?

2015 update - Smith is still doing early writes, as my D received one, with the personalized note from the Dean of Admissions, and with T-shirt in follow-up.
@txhandan Are you talking about the STRIDE? Have they already been sent out? What other thread?
@ccdfor2 No, I can not log into the admitted student page. I don’t think it’s live yet?
@redpoodles , the comment about STRIDE was from last year. I don’t think anyone has received one this year, yet.
Oh goodness!
Just received a STRIDE letter today! It’s dated March 19.
Congrats!! I wonder if those in Florida have already gotten theirs.
@Quijote where are you and were you an early admit or an early write? Anyone else?
@redpoodles I’m in NYC. I don’t really know what the distinction between the two is…
Did you apply ED or RD?
@redpoodles RD. Early write, then.
Congrats on the Stride!
Received my STRIDE letter in California today!
D received her STRIDE letter today…actually it was mailed to me, “the parent of”…I had to call and tell her. I figured the finaid package would be online too but it wasn’t as of an hour or two ago.
@NEPatsGirl, is the STRIDE itself online? Or any sign of admission? Crickets here…
From the portal, there is no sign of admission for me. However, I can log onto the admitted students website and submit the enrollment deposit. http://www.smith.edu/admission/admit/
@redpoodles, i believe the STRIDE comes in the mail. I’ve seen pictures of them posted on tumblr.
Congrats to the early writes and STRIDEs! Parents, there is a great FB group for you. Just search Smith Parents and Families. The closed one is the best; school has an official group with the same name but it is not closely monitored. The closed group gives lots of good advice and support as your daughter enters and attends Smith.
If I received an early write and haven’t gotten a stride yet, does that mean I won’t be getting one?
