<p>I'm not taking SAT IIs until November. Can/Should I still apply EA? I know SAT IIs aren't required, but it would probably be better if I took them.</p>
<p>No, it really wouldn't. We will not take your SAT II scores into account.</p>
<p>Do you not consider SAT IIs at all? I would think that if they are not required, they might still be viewed similarly to something like scoring well on a national science, math, or language test.</p>

<p>Not exactly... they're just tests, and they're not even particularly good tests. Being #10 in the nation for Latin is different from getting an 800 on the Latin SAT II. Is there one? If there isn't, the credibility for this test drops even more in my eyes.</p>
<p>We do have SAT II scores in front of us, and many, many students send them in. But when my eyes dart around an application during the reading cycle, they very rarely fall on the place where the SAT II scores are kept.</p>
<p>But my main point is that if you want to apply EA, go ahead and apply, even without SAT II scores, because they will not make the difference.</p>
