Earn transfer credits during the summer

I was denied admission to USC, Umich, and NYU for a Fall 2017, and while I’m OK with the the decision from the latter schools, I’m passionate about going to USC in the future
Here’s some background information:
3.8 unweighted 3.9 weighted gpa
1120 new sat
Extracurriculers: concert choir, leadership team, poms, cheerleading, volleyball,
Intended major: BA in acting, music theatre, or theatre studies

Schools I’m planning to apply as transfer:
USC
Temple
Umich
University of Illinios Urbana
Northern Illinios
University of Oregon

I’ve been planning a gap year dedicated to acting, volunteering, and raising my sat score. As much as I love learning and being in the classroom, I knew I needed a year off to dedicate to acting work, because that is what I want to do in college and as a career. I would gain experience and training during this time and continue my theatre internship.

I also want to serve regularly at an organization I feel strongly connected to. Not being in school would give me more time to serve and a way to take the focus off of me. This is just a general idea of my gap year I have some more plans that I’m excited for

With that being said I spoke to an admissions counselor at USC and she recommended I apply as a transfer. I wasn’t planning on taking classes but it might increase my chances of admission if I do well with a new academic record. But by all means I set out to not go to school to focus on acting, volunteer and overall refresh myself before I go back to school. I tried my best in high school and now I’m ready to take a break and do my own studying before college.

Is it possible for me to earn credits at a cc this summer to transfer to a university, so that I can begin my gap year in the fall?

I could always take a gap year and go to community college in Fall 2018, but my desire is to be a 4-year university by then.

I probably will not be able to earn 30 credits during the summertime alone by the December 1st deadline. Will this decrease my chances? This means I would also have to work towards increasing my sat score by 320 points.

I could take a chance and apply as a first year applicant again and not take classes but I’m not sure what would qualify as an extraordinary gap year for them to accept me without any new academic info.

In summary, my question is how can I earn credits and still fulfill my gap year to attend a 4-year university by Fall 2018, specially at USC as a BA in the school of dramatic arts?

By the way do they accept applications for spring 2018?
