Earthlust?

Is anyone on CC currently involved with Earthlust? If so, could you explain the things you are working on and affiliated with? What have you changed about Swarthmore as a result of being in Earthlust? Thanks!

i'm also interested. anyone here involved?

you can find some info and contacts here:

thanks, nngmm. i know i've seen those places before, but i also know that students are a bit hard to track down for questions about school clubs this time of year, even if they're really committed to it. it's always nice to be able to have a source here, where you feel less like you're harassing somebody by asking them 100000 questions than if you constantly email them.

also, Earthlust | Swarthmore College doesn't seem to have been updated at all in the past year.

but i'm sure the links are nonetheless beneficial for new and prospective students browsing the forums who may not be aware of earthlust yet - they're proof that the group has done some cool and ambitious things.

Yeah, I've come across these links before. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything beyond the website and Swat page, since the website hasn't really been updated in a while.

Anyone else with comments?

A couple things Earthlust did this year:

a) They got the College to give every student a compact flourescent bulb to use in their dorm room lamp.

b) They got the College to give evey student a travel mug for coffee, to cut down on the use of throwaway cups.
